When I woke up this morning, I was very tempted to text FA and cancel getting together today but fortunately, I didn’t. She stopped in around 10AM and the three of us had a good chat before FA and I headed out to wander the aisles of the hardware store.
The parking lot made it look like the store was really busy but it wasn’t bad at all. I had a good time chatting with FA as we joked around and tried to figure out what the odd tools and weird items were for.
When we were done at the store, we went for lunch at the local burrito place. For some reason, the food there was even better today than usual.
After lunch, we stopped back at home and the three of us had another good conversation.
After FA left, J and I talked for a while and then ordered out for some Indian food, which was fantastic.
Today was a pretty good day – better than I’ve had in quite a while. Hopefully this keeps up.
We’re supposed to get a whole bunch of snow tomorrow so it will be interesting to see how that turns out.
